National Organized Retail Crime Blitz Operation
We are pleased to announce a coordinated National Organized Retail Crime (ORC) Blitz Operation, scheduled to occur from August 1 through August 9, 2026, across participating jurisdictions nationwide.
This collaborative initiative between law enforcement agencies and retail partners will concentrate on the identification and mitigation of the following:

Shoplifting incidents

Organized Retail Crime (ORC) activity

Theft and fraud-related offenses

Criminal networks involved in retail theft
The primary objective of this operation is to foster enhanced cooperation between the private retail sector and law enforcement to effectively curb retail crime and bolster community security.
Organizations interested in participating are encouraged to contact their local law enforcement agency to designate a primary point of contact. This will facilitate the secure exchange of operational details, including scheduling and engagement protocols. We appreciate your commitment to this partnership and your continued dedication to maintaining safe and secure retail environments.
